Cheap fake branded clothing vs. original branded clothing: What is the difference?

Before the industrial development in China, the Chinese imitated world-famous branded goods.

Counterfeit Chinese products were sold at prices tens of times lower than the original products.

Poor quality

However, customers did not trust the quality of the counterfeit products because, the counterfeit products,

were made from poor quality materials. Customers also preferred to buy the original products because they,

had a longer shelf life.

In general, Chinese products had a bad reputation.

brilliantly in terms of shape and quality that the consumer could no longer tell the difference between the ,

original products and the imitation products.

Chinese products, once rejected by consumers, have now become essential products in everyone’s home.

Even the most famous brand owners have widely started to use Chinese materials and spare parts to produce,

Difference Between Fake Branded Clothing and Original Branded Clothing

Original Branded Clothing:

There are companies that creates products using certain designs and models. For example, pants, shoes,

or the like are given a name, and the company registers that name as intellectual property of a brand,

in a copyright office. The brand owner then becomes the brand copyright owner.

The company promotes this brand, and the higher the cost of promotion, the more famous the product becomes.

It is this process that makes it an original brand.

Note:

Original brand owners do not manufacture their products in factories owned or managed by their companies.

They seek out establishments located in countries where taxes, production costs, and raw material prices are,

low to manufacture their product. The company places the registered trademark (label)

on that product, and this makes the product an original branded product. The company then has the right to,

prevent others from using their mark without the permission of the owner. Sellers can apply for a license from,

the trademark owner. When those sellers get a paid license from the brand owner, they can use the,

registered trademark to sell and produce their own products under the original branded product.

Cheap Fake Branded Clothing:

Selling a registered branded product without getting license or other authorization from the trademark owner,

is what we call a “counterfeit product,” even if the product sold is identical to the original.

Note:

The counterfeit product can also be purchased from the same factory that makes the original branded products,

with the exact same properties and labels. This is because the factories do not care whether the customer is,

allowed to sell the branded product or not.

copying orginal branded clothing without using brand name

Sometimes sellers of counterfeit products get away with copying the form and model of branded products,

by omitting the exact brand name and label and using another label similar to the original. This practice is,

not illegal if the trademark owner has not registered the shape and model of that product. Even so,

it can be difficult to prove that a specific shape or model has been copied.
